The options and prices on this page give an indication of the technical setup, responsibilities and expected costs involved. A .nl domain name is a recognisable Dutch online address for people, organisations and projects.	The .com extension is widely used internationally and can be useful when a website has a broader audience.	Other top-level domains can be chosen when they better fit the name, purpose or audience of the website.

Website hosting

Different websites need different hosting setups. A small, lightweight website has different needs from a WordPress installation or a webshop. The hosting choice should fit the software, the expected maintenance, the amount of content and the level of control that is needed.

Web Hosting Pro is intended for lightweight websites, HTML/PHP sites, Nocterra websites and other maintainable website tools that do not need a database or large file storage.	WordPress Hosting is intended for websites based on WordPress, including the database and maintenance needs that come with WordPress.	Webshop Hosting is intended for webshops based on PrestaShop or comparable webshop software with higher storage, database and maintenance needs.
