Data and privacy work is not only about policies, checklists or removing a name from one website. It is about understanding what information exists, where it is stored, who controls it, which accounts are connected to it, what can be corrected, what should be protected and what needs to be explained more clearly.
This can include learning about the AVG/GDPR, reviewing public listings, recovering access to accounts, correcting wrong information, preparing removal or correction requests, improving the way customer data is stored, and understanding how public information is interpreted by search engines, archives and AI systems.
The goal is not to promise that every trace of information can simply be wiped away. Some information can be corrected or removed, some must be documented, some needs better protection, and sometimes the best answer is to publish clearer information in the right place so old or misleading information is no longer the only public signal.
Work on incorrect, outdated, private or misleading information in search results, public listings, social media, archives, caches and other online records. This can include finding where information appears, understanding who controls it, preparing correction or removal requests, and deciding when clearer public information is needed.
Work on accounts, access, customer records, forms, files, mailboxes, website data and administrative information. This includes looking at who has access, how data is stored, what is backed up, which systems are used, and how people can avoid losing control over important business or customer information.
Work on privacy obligations, AVG/GDPR, data processing, documentation, procedures, audit preparation and ISO 9001 or ISO 27001 readiness. The emphasis is on understanding what applies, preparing useful records and making daily work, technical systems and formal requirements fit together.
